Stress in College is Normal...

Now that midterm time is approaching this is the time where students begin to get stressed and feel overwhelmed with all their work and studying they need to complete. As a freshman you are not really sure how to study for multiple exams and in high school many of your teachers give you study guides but in college professors are not required to provide that information.
I know that this week I have been stressed with all the work I need to do because I have to write two large papers for two classes and each is worth 15% of my grade. Since I was doing homework for about four hours tonight I decided that I did what I needed to accomplish for the night so I went to the hockey game with some friends. When I am stressed I like to get away from my room and spend time with friends to not think about school. This helps me because it clears my mind and then when I start my work again I am not stressed and can focus. I had fun watching the game because I like sports but hockey is not my favorite sport but it always good watching something new because you never know you may find something you love.
There are many things you can do to relive stress.
1)    Listen to music
2)    Call a friend
3)    Talk yourself through your problem
4)    Eat right
5)    Breathe easy
6)    Laugh it off
7)    Try tea
8)    Be mindful
9)    Exercise
10)  Get plenty of sleep
11)Learn how to deal with you own stress, find strategies
