One of my CC in Farnham is Jen. She has been a CC for a year and a half and loves doing it. She finds it very rewarding and has helped a lot of people make good decisions while they are at Southern. She loves the fact that the girls on her floor and in the building look up to her as a role model and also a friend.
There are many benefits and responsibilities of being a CC. For example, some benefits are that you have your own room, free housing, looks great on your resume for leadership and you get to meet new people. Some responsibilities are that you are in charge of keeping residents safe, guide people in making the right decisions, you have duty once a week, you are on call all weekend for 3 weekends in the semester and 1 or 2 nights of late duty on Thursday.
After talking to Jen about becoming a CC I think I may apply new semester to hopefully have this great opportunity my Sophomore year.
